Hello, I am Clémence, I am french and have a degree in commerce and would like to specialise in marketing wine.
After my baccalaureate (in Marketing) I spent 2 years studying for a technical degree in International Trade (BTS in French) in Boulogne with an internship of 2 months in Ireland (commercial internship) and another internship of 1 month in Paris (international logistic internship).
I then went to Nantes to obtain a 3 year university degree in Business Development Management (Licence professionnelle in French). Every week I spent 3 days working for a company and 2 days studying at the university.
The company I worked for (E-Testing) specializes in Human Resources. I was in charge of :
- Web Marketing (SEO (search engine optimization) and redesigning of the web site),
- Canvassing,
- Customer training.
Now that I’ve finished my studies I want to specialise in viticulture.
For that, I passed my WSET level 2 (with merit) in Bordeaux and worked during 7 months as a Wine Ambassador (organization of wine tasting at home).
After that, I've decided to go to London to find a job and improve my english.
So now I'm a Sommelier in Le Boudin Blanc in Mayfair.
This traditional french restaurant is really known for his huge wine list (more than 500 wines).
My job as a sommelier is to advise our customers on the choice of their wine, find some great food and wine matching and manage the stock with my chef and my two other colleague.
