Managing multidisciplinary projects teams: mechanic, mechatronic, dynamic, electrical, optical, software, test and verification, industrialization up to 50 FTE.
Bring a machine’s module from a prototype maturity to a fully verified, released module in production, and shipped to final customers (Apple and Samsung). Project done while keeping the deadline unchanged and integrating change requests representing 25-30% extra effort versus original agreement.
Took over a project with budget overspent, delay in development. Team ownership, tight control on resources, continuous negotiations on quotations with suppliers were the key elements for fulfilling customer’s expectations and deliver the project on agreed timeline, quality and budget.

Project to identify, rank, design and test concepts using fluids dynamic principles to improve gum health by better cleaning the interdental space compare to existing fluid solutions and manual / power toothbrushes. One concept has been brought to a principal proven with benefit shown during invitro testing on biofilms.
Identify issues within Philips’ product and process architectures, definitions and initiations of predevelopment projects to seek manufacturing solutions enabling part miniaturization, function integration and cost reduction. In Mold Assembly and Variotherm molding techniques are now used.

Coordination of all the simulations (structural and process) involved per project (more than 25 interior car garnishes per project): improve the speed of delivering results by 50% by having developed mesh requirements suited for both structural (Patran / Nastran / LSDyna) and process (Moldflow) simulations, and reduce cost of meshing by 200% by qualifying suppliers from Asia, Middleeast, NorthAfrica.
Define and lead molding trials to investigate new techniques and improve simulation accuracy and reliability: clamp force brought from +/40% to +/20%; estimation of filling pattern for parts gated with multiple gates from +/20% to +/10%.
Realization of Moldflow (process) / Nastran (structure) FEA analysis to optimize parts geometry, select material, design the architecture of the hot runner systems, and optimize process settings: more than 300 studies performed.
Coordination and planning of the workload for all the simulations department (min. 6 FTE) including outsourcing to suppliers.
