En résumé

Après plusieurs années de travail dans le tourisme, l'humanitaire et la coopération internationale, j'ai repris les études avec le Master Management et Commerce internationale, Spécialité : Tourisme, Gestion de projet, e-Marketing de l'Université d'Avignon, France.
Aujourd'hui j'arrive à la fin de mon parcours académique au sein de la même institution avec un doctorat en géographie portant sur les questions du tourisme et de la géopolitique : comment envisager le tourisme après la guerre ?
J'interviens également en tant qu'enseignant dans le Master Médiation Culture et Patrimoine et les deux licences en Tourisme et Hôtellerie de l'Université d'Avignon (M1MCP , LPTES et LPHT).

Actuellement en recherche de nouveaux défis dans le monde professionnel.

    2011 - 2011 A four months internship part of the masters.
    P.O. is one of the leading business tourism and event management agencies in Avignon.
    During my internship I was in charge of the preparation and the organization of events and business trips in the Provence area (south of France), assisting the Project Manager and the Agency Director in their tasks, in addition to communication tasks (blog editing) and translation tasks.
    Also took part in the creation of new products, and the updating of some of the agency's main products.
  • Ambassade de France en Syrie - Director Assistant

    enghien les bains 2009 - 2010 Director Assistant, in charge of the administrative issues at the CDP (Centre de Documentation Pedagogique) the educative and university cooperation network of the French Embassy in Syria.
  • UNHCR - Registration Clerk

    Genève 2 2007 - 2009 Within the Registration Unit in UNHCR - Damascus, in charge of conducting registration interviews of the Iraqi refugees in Syria, including translation of the claims of refugees from Arabic to English, Data entry to the Database of UNHCR, issuing Refugee Status Certificates and Asylum- seeker attestations and classification of cases according to UNHCR guidelines.
    Duties also included working in the Screening & Appointment area, ensuring the well-functioning of the process by backing up the Senior Registration Clerk & the Registration Supervisor in charge of this task, in addition to organizing the process and supervising the works of other Registration Clerks in absence of the supervising team.
    My duties also included the participation in mobile registration missions in different areas of Syria and the coordination with the different local partners of UNHCR on the spot.
  • Ambassade de France en Syrie - Secretary

    enghien les bains 2006 - 2007 Secretary, in charge of the administrative and logistical follow up of the "Excellence Project" in the CDP (Center of educational cooperation at the Embassy). Tasks included: coordination between the French and Syrian parties of the project, translation of official documents (between Arabic and French), simultaneous interpretation during meetings, management of the library of the project and of the stocks of materials.
  • Adonis Travel & Tourism, Syria - Senior Operation Coordinator

    2005 - 2006 Senior responsible of coordination in the Operation Department of Adonis Travel. Duties included the follow up of the different kinds of tours proposed by Adonis T&T (Groups, Individuals, Guaranteed Departures...) including the administrative aspects (Preparation of the official documents for the Syrian authorities in order to obtain visas for the clients) and the logistic aspects (providing transportation, tour-guides, restaurant reservation and follow up with hotels).
    Tasks also included the coordination between the different concerned parties (partners of Adonis Travel in foreign countries, branches of the company and other partners in the neighbouring countries) leading to a daily communication with persons of different cultures, languages and nationalities (partners in Europe, Middle-east and Far-east).
  • Adonis Travel & Tourism - Damascus - Syria - Tours Coordinator

    2003 - 2005 Coordinating and following up the Individual & Guaranteed departure tours in Syria, including logistic, administrative and communicational duties: providing transportation, tour guides, preparation of visa documents for the clients and follow up of the procedures with the Syrian authorities, coordination with the hotels & restaurants, daily contact with the partners and clients of Adonis Travel in neighbouring & foreign countries.
