  • Marie-Curie - Research Fellow

2016 - maintenant Focas Research Institute
    Dublin Institute of Technology
    Dublin, Ireland

My post-doctoral work is entitled as ``Automated Raman spectral Cytology for
detection of human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and cervical precancer''
  • CNRS, Orleans - Research Associate

    2015 - 2015 CEMHTI-CNRS UPR3079
Conditions Extrêmes et Matériaux : Haute Température et Irradiation
    Site Haute Température, France

My post-doctoral work focuses on the development of a portable, field telescopic Raman spectroscopy for high temperature materials (volcanology)
  • National University of Singapore - Research Engineer

2013 - 2014 My research engineer work centered on developing a universal Matlab-based Raman
spectroscopy diagnostic platform that can be used for real-time detection of cancer
and precancer in vivo at the molecular level in various organs such as cervix, gastric,
colon. This work also implemented automatic axis calibration, inter-probe intensity
calibration, etc., helping to translate Raman spectroscopy method into healthcare
industry for assisting clinicians in immediate diagnosis and subsequent treatment of
    cancer precursors.

Formations

  • National University Of Singapore (Singapore)

    Singapore 2009 - 2013 Doctor of Philosophy

My Ph.D. work focused on the development of a portable, cost-effective, confocal
Raman spectroscopy that can simultaneously acquire fingerprint and high
wavenumber Raman signals from cervix tissue during clinical colposcopy. The
developed system measures tissue Raman spectra predominantly from epithelial
layer of cervix for further enhancing cervical precancer diagnosis in v
  • Anna University (Chennai)

    Chennai 2004 - 2008 Bachelor of Engineering

    Bachelor of Engineering
My undergraduate course is mainly learning of different engineering and medical
courses necessary for biomedical engineering such as medical instrumentation I and
II, optical engineering, analog and digital signal processing, electronic circuits and
circuit analysis, communication, anatomy, physiology, pathology, biochemistry and
    microbiology.
