Strong experience in the study of lipid and glucose homeostasis, its disorders, its related-diseases (NAFLD) and type 2 diabetes in the context of obesity in rodents and humans. Basic research in modulating lipid metabolism using pharmacological and transgenic approaches in rodents. Involvement in teaching Master and bachelor students in the field of physiology of nutrition, physiology/ anatomy and bio-statistics.
