Manage Huawei IPTV Maintenance team to support, advise and guide customer (Morocco Telecom)
to achieve their maintenance challenge and monitor their whole IPTV platform including:
* Headend :
o TVRO (TV receive only) subsystem : 8 reception antennas of 4.5m to receive all
SD, , HD and audio channels (FTA and CA) and the DEV backup motorized
antenna .
o Decoding subsystem : professional Harmonic IRD (Integrated receiver decoder), SD
IRD PVR2900 HD IRD PVR7000, Audio IRD PVR2980 and the Harmonic NMX
supervision system.
o Encoding subsystem : Envivio encoders Gen1, 2 and 3, 4Caster SD SDI, 4Caster HD
SDI, 4Caster SD IP, 4Caster HD IP, and Envivio encoders supervision system NMS.
The Audio encoders are Harmonic DiviCom Audio encoders
o CA (Conditional access) subsystem : SecureMedia encryption system to encrypt all
IPTV channels received and processed by previous systems as well as the IPTV
platform video delivered to subscribers as VOD (Video on demand ) .
o Mosaic system : mosaics Generators Harmonic ProStream 8000 .

* Tracking SRs (Service request) created by customer (IAM) in Icare system and ensure
their resolutions within contractual deadline.
* IPTV Issues troubleshooting (checking service , check logs and schedule operations )
* Daily check of IPTV services : BTV (Broadcast TV), TSTV (Time Shift TV), TVOD (TV
on demand), VOD (Video on demand), Mosaic, PIP (Picture In Picture), PVR ( Personal
video record), nPVR (network PVR)
* Cooperate with R&D to solve the difficult raised problems and prepare the technical
report of the incident,
* Escalate to third party supports (Harmonic, Envivio, Dayang ...) problems related to their
systems and follow up with them to fix it.
* Schedule preventative maintenance visit to site once a year.
* Provide on-site knowledge transfer to IAM operators , for various IPTV platform
components
* Deliver IPTV training to IAM IPTV engineers ;
* Prepare technical reports for each on site operation ;
* Prepare user guides of IPTV common operations ;
* Monitor different parts of the platform using the hardware and software monitoring tools
(I2000, Cacti ...),
* Monitor audio and video quality using audio and video monitoring tools,
* Enrich the content of IPTV platform according to IAM marketing requirement.
