LAVAL

En résumé

Talented Scientist and Researcher with comprehensive education and clinical study experience in nutrition, gastroenterology, biochemistry and chemistry. Developed and improved methods of analytical chromatography (HPLC and GC-FID) in various matrices (plasma, red blood cells, homogenate (liver and brain) and cell lysate), resulting in better separation and lower detection limit.

Expertise in chromatographic analysis (GC-FID, HPLC, FPLC), development of experimental protocol, cell culture and treatments (primary and culture cells), molecular biology, lipids/proteins isolation and assay, SDS-PAGE Western blot with immunoprecipitation, enzymatic assay, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics. Exposure to mass spectrometry theory.

Ability to forge strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Postdoc work in Nutrition and Gastroenterology Laboratory, Doctorate in Biochemistry and Master in Biology. Published 14 scientific articles and participated in national and international congresses as a poster presenter. Fluent in English and French.
