    Context : infotainment systems in cars.

    Customer : Continental Automotive France.

    OS : OSEK/VDX and PrKernel Real Time Operating System.

    IDE: Multi from Green Hills, eBinder from eSol Corporation.

    Tools : IBM Rational Synergy (CM), IBM Rational Change Synergy (CS), IBM Rational DOORS, Klocwork, IBM Rational Rhapsody, Vector CANalyzer, Vector CANoe, Aardvark I2C/SPI.

    Responsibilities and Roles:
    ----------------------------------------

    Design and implementation of :

    - Hardware abstraction layer (HAL) and I2C driver for Texas Instruments digital automotive power amplifier TAS5412.

    - Finite State Machine (FSM) of sound manager, to controle all audio functions.

    - Interprocessor communication and synchronization between two 32-bits microcontrollers NEC V850 and TI Jacinto 2 (ARM + DSP) on SPI bus using RTP Protocol.

    - Temperature management and thermal algorithms to protect the radio when over temp is occurred.

    - Customer Diag on CAN (OBD) manager for both NEC V850 and TI Jacinto 2 processors.

    - Manufacturing diagnostics functions, used by Continental Automotive manufactory to test the product.
