Project: Skikda Refinery Rehabilitation and Adaptation Project of Algeria Revamping and Refinery Modernization Works (Revamping Area)
Client: Sonatrach Activité Aval-Division Raffinage
Project Management Contractor (PMC): Engineers India Limited (EIL)
Location: Skikda Industriel Zone, Cité Skikda Algérie
Duties & Responsibilities:
Quality Assurance and Quality Control inspection for all new and reconditioned Instrument Installations & Testing from Satellite Rack Rooms to outside Structures in an Oil And Gas Plant including installation of Cable Ducts and Trays, Junction Box & Racks, Buried Cabling System, Power Distributions and Control Panel, Marshalling Cabinets, Local Control Panels, Instrument Transmitters and Impulse Lines and all Instrumentations related works, etc.
Review of QA/QC Procedures and Plans, Inspections and Test Plan, Construction Materials Bill of Quantities for site construction & inspection use related to Instrument installation works.
* Review of Standard Mounting Details, Symbols and Notes, Instrument Specification, Datasheets and Vendor approved drawings and other documentation works.
* Reads and reviews AFC drawings, Standard typical drawings and Actual Site Internal Inspection and taking Punch list items.
* Coordinate and communicate with the Client, PMC and Main Contractor's Inspectors for QS/QA/QC procedures on inspection and any other matters for inspection purposes.
* Coordinate and communicate with the site supervisors regarding preliminary inspection troubles like obstruction of piping and maintenance access and any quality matters.
* Quantity surveying of all new installed instruments and its accessories, dismantled items and Instrument Modernization.
* Quantity surveying of cable ducts, trays, airline tubing's, impulse lines and taking measurement as per actual site installation and orientations.
Responsible for trainings and supervision of Quantity Surveying and QA/QC Activities and
* Assignment of Area Location for Internal Inspection and surveying.
* Preparation of documents and attachments for inspection such as calculation and measuring sheets for quantity surveyed items.
* Preparation of Application for Inspection as per Standard Mounting Details, Process Hook-up and Inspection and Test Plans procedures and any relevant documents.
* Preparation of documents such as inspection sheets and reports for Loop Folder Compilation attachments and any related papers for project completion status.
* QA/QA inspections with client as per QA/QC procedures and Quantity Surveyed Items calculation and measuring sheets as per actual installation and orientation.
* QA/QC inspection for Testing of Cables, Pneumatic and Impulse Lines and Calibration.
* Updates of Application for Inspection status for monthly progress payment and work volume.
* Preparation of documents and attachments for loop test and leak test
* QAQC inspections for Testing, Pre-commissioning and Commissioning activities
* Loop Test off different instruments:
* Transmitters: VIBRATION / TEMPERATUR / LEVEL PRESSURE FLOW / GAS / ANALAYSER (PT,FT,TT,LT,PDT,VT,AT,GT) ABB,FOXBORO,ROSEMONT,YOKOGAWA,SEIMENS ;
