Essential Duty And Responsibilities :
- Works independently with the responsibility for solving customer request cases
and reporting according to processes.
- Technical support tasks including fault diagnosis and troubleshooting within
own competence area.
- Identifies and solves technical problems.
- On-site support at customers premises in other support-site/country.
- Carries out installation and/or commissioning and/or integration activities.
- SW/ HW maintenance activities such as installation & test of technical/change
notes /change deliveries. Technical/customer acceptance testing.
- Monitors alarms and performs preventive maintenance and regular system
pre-checks.
- Technical Query cases:Provide detailed technical answers/clarifications for technical questions or doubts asked by Customer/CIT in a presentable way
- Participates in emergency support activities and 24/7 duty.
- Provides support for complex technical activities such a SW upgrades and
technical audits.
- Fault reproduction. (Reproduce trouble tickets in test lab. environment)
- Handling the internal and external customer technical cases
- Detailed analysis (log files, traces, monitoring…etc)
- Support Local CIT/customer team for technical queries. (In case of customer
acceptance tests, trials, pilot projects, SW & HW upgrades, Implementation phase...).
- Preparing PS core Test Lab Equipment for Training courses.
- PS core & LTE Planning and dimensioning (SGSN & GGSN,MME, Flexi NG dimensioning).
Additonal Activities for NSN : NSN Trainer
Developing and performing BSS UMTS & PS Core & LTE Training courses (Basic and advanced courses)for NSN internal engineers and NSN customers around the world.
Summarized Experience:
• GGSN technical support/ Performing commissioning ,integration and upgrades Flexi ISN (NSN)
• SGSN SG6 & SG7 and Flexi NS SGSN SG8 technical support/ Performing commissioning and integration and upgrading.
• working in IP GPRS backbone including Support/Troubleshooting/IP Planning &
dimensioning/Installation.
• working on Juniper Netscreen Firewalls, DNS Infobloxes and Cisco switches and
routers.
