  * Surface and electronic characterisation (Auger spectroscopy, LEED), ex-situ AFM, with HRTEM (Material department), X-ray diffraction (Physics department), on I16 at Diamond Light Source Ltd. XPS at the National Centre for Electron Spectroscopy and Surface Analysis Facility (NCESS).
  This work and collaboration lead to high citation index papers.
  Involvement in an ISIS experiment on PbO2.

  Structure and magnetic properties of amorphous alloy of PdNiFeP (XRD, VSM)
  * in the Self Organised Molecular Systems Centre (SOMS),
  Metal/liquid crystal film interfaces, influence of self-assembled monolayer (SAM), using ellipsometry.

  1998 - 2002 PhD in Physics - Condensed Matter Group and SOMS Centre, -Title: Growth and Transport Properties of Hybrid Organic/Metal Thin Films.
  This interdisciplinary project was the collaboration with several departments.
  * Metallic layer grown by molecular beam epitaxy system (MBE) in cleanroom. ;
  * Design and commissioning of UHV organic molecular beam deposition chamber (OMBD) for liquid crystals deposition. ;
  * Structural characterisation (RHEED, XRD, STM and AFM). ;
  * Conductivity measurements in-situ in both MBE and OMBD chamber and ex-situ at low temperature. ;
  * Collaboration with a theoretician for the modelling of the system. ;
  * Beamtime at the European Synchrotron Radiation Facility (XMaS - BM28)
