Genève 102011 - 2011- As a member of the IPSAS Team, I mostly worked on a comparative statement of accounting policies and notes for five organizations which adopted the International Public Sector Accounting Standards in place of the United Nations System Accounting Standards. This comparative statement aims at helping the teams understand better the requirements of the change from UNSAS to IPSAS and to identify the possible bones of contention.
- I also worked on monthly reports for the Board of Auditors meetings.
- I participated in the writing of training materials designed for the accounting teams in all the UN locations in the world.
- I could have a very deep insight of the International Relations and world political affairs. I had a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to attend the General Assembly meetings and to meet personalities such as Ban Ki Moon, Barack Obama or Nicolas Sarkozy.
