    I developed a Methyl-Sensitive PCR of the human 14q32 intergenic differentially methylated region. My mission was to create a diagnosis method to identify epigenetic dysregulations leading to a Prader-Willi like syndrome. The technique was validated and is now available for the laboratory.

    Set up a pool of epigenetic biomarkers for liver cancer. I analyzed patients’ tumour and normal samples with HRM (High Resolution Melting analysis) in order to identify precise probes differentially methylated in cancer and normal samples. This pool could be used as an early diagnostic. I validated my results with pyrosequencing and built controls with Whole Genome Amplification (WGA) and in-vitro methylation.
