    2003 - 2004 Responsible for planning departmental activities to achieve quality objectives for an international manufacturer of hydro turbines and generators. Additional responsibilities included gap analysis, to identify required improvements and consultation with stakeholders.
    • Designed project controls from bid, planning, execution, installation to project closure.
    • Re-established Ste Marguerite 3/Hydro-Quebec customer confidence by establishing a mutually beneficial/cooperative and responsive working environment.
    • Improved relationships with clients by implementing a customer dashboard on quality activities.

    1998 - 2002 Responsible for leading and managing the Supplier Quality Engineering group activities for the international fiber optic telecommunication products market.
    • Consolidated multiple supplier requirements from R&D to Manufacturing into one controlled quality document resulting into a standardized requirements and substantial time reduction to bring new product to market and ease the way for supplier to be compliant.
    • Performed a statistical comparison test results study between supplier & incoming inspection in order to align testing method, resulting in 15% reduction of material rejection.
    • Developed Statistical Process Control (SPC) supplier roadmap and initiated SPC implementation at two (2) supplier sites resulting in reduction of supplier product rejection at incoming and manufacturing stages.

    • Reviewed and updated the manufacturing documentation system (procedures, work instructions, forms) in compliance with ISO 9000 standards.

    1992 - 1998 Responsible for Leading for managing production parts approval process, and ensuring that submittals were compliant to customer requirements and managing customer complaints, responsiveness (timeliness and effectiveness) for an international manufacturer of aluminium castings for the automotive industry.
    • Participated on the creation of automated leak test equipment requirements, which were later acquired and improved the inspection from manual to automated.
    • Gained customer recognition by aggressively increasing quality in a short-term period (removal of level 1 status “supplier at high quality risk”).
    • Participated in the QS9000 implementation (document writing, audits, gap analysis – Process flow chart, FMEA, Control Plan).
