PRINCIPAL RESPOSIBILITIES
• Execute production operations activities in accordance with production programme / plan.
• Troubleshoot production abnormalities arising in the plant.
• Execute all assigned work tasks in line with plant operating philosophies, and current work practices.
• Report to Production Supervisor on status of daily activities and work progress
• Assist Production Supervisor to control and plan work activities.
• To Co-ordinate with other department for breakdown or routine maintenance work on plants.
• Area authority for Permit-to-Work activities within area of responsibility
• Give guidance to Assistant or trainee Operators in the team to aid their development.
• Take leading role to control emergencies and contain hazards within area of responsibility.
• To ensure HSE systems are in place before starting a job
Conduct regular site visits, advice co-workers on potential hazards, check safety equipments.
• Annual turnaround co-ordination in the maintenance activities like Shutdown procedure, blind list preparation and Preparing daily production report
• Notify management of unsafe working conditions, HSE incidents, and actively participate in HSE meetings.
