    * Detailed risk analysis by analyzing financial statements and related data to determine credit risk and credit worthiness of current and potential clients regarding to following scope:

    --> Corporate
    --> Acquisition Financing & Structured Finance (Syndicated Loans)
    --> Shipping Finance
    --> Real Estate
    --> Sicafi
    --> Project Finance

    * Responsible for a client portfolio

    * Participating in the decision taking process in the scope of my mandatory responsibilities, report and argue the credit decisions

    * Managing the Dexia Bank credit risk portfolio.

    * Advising on and recommending changes to credit policies and procedures.

    * Working with the Corporate and Structured Finance Department to enable business growth while maintaining acceptable credit risk levels.

    * Technical support to the front office by recommending and structure possible technical (credit) solutions. Participate as appropriate in the structuring / negotiation of deals to minimise risks

    * Coaching of colleagues-analysts

    * Participate to workgroups enabling the operational efficiency of the (internal) credit process

    * Keeping up to date with issues that may affect credit decisions.

    * Staying informed about the legal, compliance, fiscal, accounting and market-risk-related issues involved in the approval of credit.

    * Post-approval support for legal, compliance, operational, monitoring and system requirements.

  • Dexia Bank Belgium - Credit Analyst

    La Défense 2003 - 2005 * Detailed risk analysis by analyzing financial statements and related data to determine credit risk and credit worthiness of current and potential clients regarding to Midcorporate and Corporate clients.

    * Responsible for a client portfolio
