    Studied the virulence of the gram negative alphaproteobacteria of the genus Brucella on 3 different levels of analysis:

    1) Identified 32 Hfq-associated noncoding RNAs.
    2) Characterized newly described species in the genus Brucella.
    3) Studied the function of the Glutamate Decarboxylase genes (GAD) in Brucella Microti.
