  Blagnac 2013 - maintenant I have developed in Java a network monitoring software in a distributed way. My purpose was to allow to monitor a network without physical constraint (no TAP). In order to acheive this, I build the software with two stand-alone applications. The main application, that I called 'Analyzer', has to send Java RMI (Remote Method Invocation) request to the 2 'Probes', which are sniffing IP packets, in order to obtain the sniffed packets' buffer. Then the 'Analyzer' derives statistics (bitrate, losses, delay and jitter) from both received packets' lists , and display charts.
  I also made a battery of tests to validate the software, and I wrote the documentation.
