    Compiègne 2012 - 2015 I managed an innovative scientific project aiming at developing a predicting tool for local drug delivery:

    - I developed a microfluidic-based experimental protocole in order to perform the acquisition of the deformation of soft microparticles into a Y-shaped bifurcated microchannel,
    - I performed microfluidic experiments consisting in flowing soft microparticle suspensions into a microfluidic channel under varying flow conditions,
    - I developed a reduced-order model in order to predict the flow, distribution and deformation of such particles in flow,
    - I developed a mechanical characterization method based on the microfluidic experiments,
    - I performed scientific and technological surveillance,
    - I presented scientific results in world class conferences, as well as summarized them into scientific papers (Hu et al. PRE 2013, Sévénié et al. Procedia IUTAM 2015),
    - I managed two students.

  • Biomechanics and bioengineering laboratory (BMBI, UMR 7338) - R&D Engineer Trainee

    2012 - 2012 I worked as a research engineer trainee to obtain my Engineer/Master diploma.
    I worked on the mechanical characterization of microcapsules by using microfluidics.

    I improved the microfluidic setup, made microfluidic chips and performed microfluidic experiments.

    I developed a Matlab program which achieves inverse analysis to deduce mechanical properties of microcapsules based on experimental images.

    I am the co-author of a published article entitled "Characterizing the membrane properties of capsules flowing in a square-section microfluidic channel: Effects of the membrane constitutive law".

  • Grenoble Institute of Neurosciences - Engineer application internship

    2011 - 2011 Worked as an internship student for the development of a 3D realistic patient-specific model of intracerebral injection in healthy cerebral tissu.
    I ran simulations of the intracerebral injection of fluid with Fluent (Ansys).
    I build a model geometry and a realistic geometry with the meshing program ICEM (Ansys).
    I performed segmentation of medical images with Avizo.
    I participated to synchrotron radiation experiments
