- Deliver five days long trainings on the safe transportation of dangerous goods by air complying with the ICAO / IATA Regulations
- Report all incidents to the French Authority for civil aviation (DGAC) and maintain good contact with them to ensure smooth relations.
Project management & leadership:
- Act as a project member, advise and negotiate on all the safety aspects of the Paris hub
- Lead projects to improve the safety & working conditions in several departments
- Drive workgroups including employees, managers, engineers & unions representatives on several safety issues due to operating changes and projects
Safety & work conditions :
-Perform noise measurements, noise exposure assessment, and lead a project to reduce the overall noise levels in the facilities together with an acoustic engineering contractor
Fire protection :
-Define action plans following visits and reports from the insurance company (FM Global) to improve the level of fire protection
-Work with the insurance company engineer to build a project for the sprinkler protection of the entire factory
-Create, help train and motivate a fire response team with local employees. Write the necessary procedures in accordance with the insurance company recommandations to ensure the efficiency of this team.
Environment / ISO 14001
-Organize the management of chemical spills in all aspects: schematize current & expected situations through incidents feedbacks and analysis, work on the training of a spill response team, sign a contract with a vendor to carry out spills clean-up
-Participate to audits to assess level of compliance with the Regulations and the Standard, propose and carry out action plans to improve it in order to obtain the certification.
