En résumé

My studies in geosciences especially in exploration seismology provide me with skills and knowledge that enable me to solve future tasks and challenges related to the Exploration domaim.

Currently, I am working on the seismic processing of a 2-D seismic line from the Gulf of Mexico by combining results from reflection and refraction seismic to have the best initial velocity model for Full Waveform Inversion (FWI).

Paris 2013 - maintenant Seismic processing of a large 2D dataset to Subsalt Gulf of Mexico imaging

    Techniques and used methods:
    - Handling of a large 2D seismic dataset: comprehension of the wave’s propagation phenomena in the deep water, identification of the different wave types and import of the dataset on the seismic processing software: “GLOBEClaritas”.
    - Processing of the dataset by a post-stack conventional seismic processing technique comprising: pre-processing (geometry assignment, signal processing, CMP sorting), velocity-analysis and dip-filtering, QC of the velocity model, stack and Migration
    - Pre-stack migration workflow and Velocity model asses.
    - Processing of the dataset by the first arrival tomography method for the near surface zone
    - Contribution to the full waveform inversion (FWI) of the seismic dataset

    Difficulties:
    - Complex salt shapes and subsalt velocity anomalies
    - Long offsets and elasty
    - Irregular sea floor and thick water layer
    - Complex hyperbolas arrivals due to 2D effects
    - Lateral velocity variation

2013 - 2013 This field training on wirline logging aims to devellope the following skills:
    - A fast review of Borehole geophysics techniques
    - Data acquisition & logging practice (SGR, OBI, Rt…)
    - logs Interpretation on WellCAD software
    - correlation Core/ Logging
  • University of Joseph Fourier - Applied geophysics to site characterization / field training

2012 - 2012 The objective of this field training is the monitoring of a landslide, by using this following methods:
    - On site data acquisition by seismic and electrical surveys
    - Seismic Refraction Tomography (SRT)
    - Electrical Resistivity Tomography (ERT)
    - Surface wave inversion and Seismic Noise measurements
  • Université de Joseph Fourier - Structural model for interpreters / Alpine geology (Alps)

2012 - 2012 - Analyzing of geological features on a panoramic scale and evocation of their underlying structures
    - study and deduction, on the surface, the segnature of sedementary sequencces and discontinuities in seismic reflexion
    - Comprehention of various existing structural traps geometries and the choice of their exploration strategy
  • E.NA.GEO / SONATRACH - Intern geophysicist

2012 - 2012 I worked with Emerge program of Hampson-Russell software, which uses the artificial neural networks as a tool to optimize the inversion process of the seismic data, to better characterize the reservoir.
I derived from seismic data the following petrophysical parameters
    - Acoustic impedance
    - Porosity
