o From 2009, lecturer/researcher at the faculty of medicine and biomedical sciences, for the department of internal medicine.
– Lectures given for each session of HIV course of the Interuniversity Diploma at the Faculty of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences/ comprises: Universal precautions and protection of health care personnel’s; Vaccinations of HIV infected adults and clinical cases of failure of treatment
– 5-15 trainees per batch are received for practicals.
– Two thesis are produced per session of the diploma.
o Since 2007: Site Investigator International epidemiologic Data to Study AIDS (IeDEA) Project:
– Creation and ruling of an hospital database
– Organization of paper and electronic archives of more than one thousand patient records. Collaborated with researchers both nationally and internationally to develop research concepts and analyze large datasets from across the Central African region.
– Negotiated new partnerships to maintain funding and lasting of the project.
– The site experiences the pilot introduction of the national tools to standardize data collection and create the national database for monitoring and evaluation of HIV/AIDS care.
– Created a team network of field workers; improved their capacities through formation to handle e- consent and data management.

– Responsible for HIV/AIDS sector assessments, strategic planning and program design for the national decentralization program:
– 6 district hospitals have been tutored in the central region.
– 50 health care personnel from different categories have been building up to standard HIV/AIDS care.

– Collaborative Network exist between the six district hospitals and General hospital.
o 2006,appointed Head of unit A of the medical ward, Yaounde General Hospital
– Develope strong managerial skills as the head of a medical ward unit of 27 beds with and occupation rate of 40-80%. Since 2007, the death rate in the service has drop of 40% in comparison to previous years.

Coordination meeting of the hygiene team is held in a monthly basis.

Job description:
– I faced the HIV epidemics in the Infectious Disease Unit of the Central Hospital in Yaoundé. The unit was rapidly overwhelmed as the service became the reference for complicated cases. The picture of that performance was presented at the International AIDS Conference in 2003.
– I participated in the expert committee responsible for writing the national round proposal submitted and funded by the Global Fund against HIV /AIDS, Malaria and Tuberculosis.
– As a national expert in HIV/AIDS I contributed to the elaboration and review of the national guideline for care of adults and adolescents on antiretroviral treatment .
– I also participated in improving the knowledge of the disease, primary and secondary prevention of opportunistic infection through beside teaching and continuing medical education.
