I hold a Bachelor degree of Business Administration from the University of Quebec in Montréal.
This is a four year-program
I have more than seven years of paid working experience in a frontline office environment. During the last five years, I worked at the Catholic Immigration Centre in Ottawa, where I provided individual assessments and intake with new immigrants, helping them to identify their needs, filling and evaluating their applications, making referrals to lawyers, and liaising with Ontario work workers.
I also worked more than three years at the ABCE language centre in Ottawa, where I conducted research, analyzed information, and produced clear and concise reports for my supervisor, on a monthly basis. I also developed a multitude of learning materials and tools to help the clients of the language centre achieve their language goals. This work required me to use office software to produce the leaning materials. In particular, I used Windows; Microsoft Office Word and Excel, and PowerPoint; and, search engines to search for new information, analyse, process, and distribute the various documents..
My analytical skills, along with extensive experience in organizing, planning, analyzing complex issues, and providing public services in both official languages of Canada, will be an asset for your organization.
