    FERRAND 2016 - maintenant Staff 900+, tyre production for ultra-high performance markets
    Responsible for achieving maintenance performance levels, reducing costs, and delays and minimizing consequences in the daily performances as production loss, scrap products and operators' safety.
    Reporting to the plant manager, lead teams of 20+ engineering, quality, maintenance, organization and methods in all phases from conceiving solutions to the operating step for two projects:

    * Automation of evacuation and storing steps of ``carcasses'' in the tyre manufacturing workshop. Implementation IS solution to manage all products to flow automatically.
    EUR 2,5M budget.
    Challenging goals in ergonomics and available surface in the workshop

    * Modifications in all machinery of the Tyre manufacturing, Curing and Control workshops in order to achieve the goals set in Michelin's Strategic Plan in flexibility, capacity, safety and ergonomics with no impact in current Quality performances.
    We have to increase the number of daily produced types of tyres from 20 to 28, the number of weekly tyre launches from 6 to 20, assure the same daily production as present, implement new IS solutions to monitor operations and improve safety and ergonomic conditions.
    The workshops concerned by the modifications are responsible for 70% of the plant production.
    EUR 8M budget.
  • MICHELIN - Workshop Manager

    FERRAND 2012 - 2015 Staff 900+, tyre production for ultra-high performance markets
    Reporting to the plant manager. Steer and direct tyre manufacturing and tyre curing workshops. Establish operational policies and implement process improvements to ensure performances in safety, quality, production, maintenance and costs. Directly manage seven managers overseeing 250+ white and blue collar workers. Manage operational expense budgets exceeding EUR 13M. Responsible for suggesting investments programs to improve the workshop performances.
    Selected contributions:
    * By delegation of the plant manager, management of daily plant operations meetings ;
    * Tutoring of young managers ;
    * Customer service improvement by 10 points from 78,6% to 88,6% ;
    * High waste products improvement by 38% from 1,68% to 1,03%
  • MICHELIN - Workshop Manager

    FERRAND 2008 - 2012 Staff 1200+, tyre production for passenger cars and vans
    Steer and direct rubber, as well as textile and metallic constituents workshop. Establish operational policies and implement process improvements to ensure performances in safety, quality, production, maintenance and costs. Directly manage eight managers overseeing 200+, white and blue collar workers. Manage operational expense budgets exceeding EUR 11M. Responsible for suggesting investments programs to improve the workshop performances.
    Selected contributions:
    * Member of the Michelin industry core team of experts (about only thirty people in the company).
    * First workshop in Michelin-France to get the number 2 level in empowerment development program
    * High Safety improvement by 74% ;
    * Productivity improvement by 26%, mainly thanks to continuous improvement
  • MICHELIN - Workshop Manager

    FERRAND 2002 - 2008 Reporting to the plant manager. Steer and direct rims and metallic constituents workshops. Establish operational policies and implement process improvements to ensure performances in safety, quality, production, maintenance and costs. Directly manage six managers overseeing 150+, white and blue collars workers. Manage operational expense budgets exceeding EUR 9M. Responsible for suggesting investments programs to improve the workshop performances.
    Selected contributions:
    * First workshop in Michelin-Spain to carry out a 5S program.
    * First workshop in Michelin-Spain to get the number 2 level in empowerment development program
    * The two workshops are the benchmark in Michelin-Europe

  • MICHELIN - Planning Manager

    FERRAND 2001 - 2002 Staff 200+, tyre and wheel assembly for passenger cars and trucks
    Reporting to the activity manager, direct the planning service of this activity: nine technicians. Fulfill all the customers' orders in quantity, quality and time (Renault, Citroën, Peugeot, Iveco...). Ensure the supplies of tyres, wheels and valves (Continental, Michelin, Montupet...). Help to create new services in association with the commercial director. Ensure customer relationships.
  • MICHELIN - Industrial Organization Technicien

    FERRAND 1999 - 2000 As part of Industrial Organization Service, assure the updating of manufacturing lead time, the calculation of optimized staff number to assure daily activities, assess the workshop manager about organization, production and productivity issues. Carry out all the necessary studies to optimize the operations in the workshop.

    * Study to decrease the number of operators by 5. Goal achieved.
  • MICHELIN Headquarters (Clermont-Fd) - Industrial Organization Technicien

    1999 - 1999 As part of Progress improvement Service of the truck tyre division, carry out a benchmark study in 12 plants around the world (Europe, South America and North America) to optimize the executive and white-collar staff. As a result, proposition to cut more than 400 jobs.
  • MICHELIN (Clermont-Fd - Training Period

    1998 - 1998 After being hired, all the new junior and senior executives must follow a training period. Conferences, meetings, studies, worker training periods follow to allow the fresh recruiters to know and adapt to the company.
