  • Inra - PhD Student

Paris 2015 - 2019 Key words : Sulfur nutrition, Drought, Seed quality, Leaf remobilization, Pea, System biology

My PhD project aims to determine the impact of drought combined with sulfur deficiency on the development and quality of pea seeds, as well as foliar remobilization.

The pea plants were produced on the Dijon high-throughput phenotyping platform (4PMI) and then transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics and ionomics analyzes were performed in partnership with external platforms.

This project allowed the accumulation of valuable fundamental knowledge and the determination of a quality marker for the protein composition of pea seeds, an important factor for animal nutrition and seed utilization in industry.

Supervisor : Dr Karine GALLARDO and Dr Vanessa VERNOUD
