As content sales manager, I am responsible to create new revenue streams by selling TV originated content to other media and platforms, such as: mobile telephony, internet broadband and IPTV platforms, satellite operators.
KEY TASKS
• Identify potential content to sell and potential customers
• Coordinate with the internal New Media Department for deciding upon retention of rights for internal exploitation or opportunity to sell to third parties
• Negotiate with customers
• In case of internal adaptation of content for the customer, define and track postproduction activities to be performed in close collaboration with the internal operations

2001 - 2003CONTEXT - RTI NEW MEDIA Department runs operations related to the Internet, Mobile telephony (editorial content for mobile device and mobile tv), and interactive applications for the Digital Terrestrial Television.
JOB PURPOSE. – I was responsible to deal with Fixed and Mobile Telcos in order to develop TV brand extension products (such as sms alerts and other value added services) and participation Tv services (such as televotes and text-to-screen services) adopting a viable business model.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with Content and Technocal Dept. for defining product concepts
• Elaborate business plan and evaluate economic feasibility
• Negotiate and close commercial deals with Telcos
• Monitor results and manage contract
• Define budget and forecast

JOB PURPOSE.
I was responsible for international advertising relationships, i.e. selling to the biggest Italian advertiser additional advertising space on the major international broadcasting channels (e.g. Telecinco, Sat 1, Pro 7, Kabel 1, Viva 1 e 2 in Germany, Channel4, BskyB).
