    2009 - 2015 SAFEC (www.safec.ca) monitors over 12,000 web-objects dispersed across 400+ government and non-governmental websites to provide real-time information updates about assistance and funds available to businesses in Canada.

    * Business Strategy: Re-developed the product, tools and service offering of this 10 year old company, including business systems analysis, customer user experience requirements, and all re-design requirements for the technology and production tools. Also assist with development and implementation of digital marketing solutions and promotion.

    * Application/Product Development: Managed the specifications, roadmap, design and management of the development of back-end systems for SAFEC.ca (customer service, product development, workflow and tool controls, database requirements) as well as the public facing website. Provide quality assurance and testing. ;

    Led clients on the strategic definition of their technology initiatives and implementation of Nextways' proprietary platform, Nucleus and Cappture.com, for project management, workflow, collaboration, CRM, Email, and retargeting marketing.

    * Consulting: Assisted clients with their information architecture, user experience, and design for internal/external workflow, process, change management, and other requirements.

    * Product Development: Co-created ``Nucleus'' (SaaS) - a process, project, people, and asset management collaboration platform designed to coordinate multiple projects and client relationships. Key clients included: CACOM (LECLERC), MARS, MARS Mexico, Gefco Logistics, KIA Motors, Conforama, Alcatel-Lucent, Nestlé Canada, QUICK BENELUX, Nestlé Waters, M&M's Brand Candies Worldwide, SAFEC.

    * Application Deployment: Led the development team of 15 for the customization of our SaaS platforms for a major European retailer (E. LECLERC) requiring systems integrations (client team of 10) and custom development needs in a scrum (agile programming) environment from alpha, beta, to launch. Managed budgets (over EUR 1.2million), resources, workflow, specifications and business requirements gathering across multi-functional business units (20+), development, acceptance testing with senior management, and deployment including client and partner user training (200+). ;

    Joined the team to develop and launch the service offering and delivery to expand Modem Media's global footprint into the French market.

    * Consulting: Led clients on the strategic definition of their digital initiatives (internet, intra-, and extranet) from the discovery process (client interviews, process and needs analysis), business case and scope definition (project strategy, objective definition, and ROI metrics) through to successful implementation (information design, including marketing/communications considerations for pre- and post-launch). Clients included France Telecom, Nexans, and Carrefour France (ACAM/FCB)

    * Business Management: As part of the management team of the new office, focused on new business development, staffing (+30), service delivery, and client relationship management. ;

    1998 - 1999 Successfully integrated the merger of TNT Interactive (FCB) with Modem Media.Poppe Tyson (NASDAQ: MMPT) and led the day-to-day operations of the Canadian office.
    * Consulting: Defined the strategic platform and vision for Modem Media in Canada; provided leadership, vision and training to employees and clients, ensuring winning strategic and creative results. Awarded 8 Marketing Magazine and 2 RSVP awards in two years (for IBM and Scotiabank) for website design, direct marketing and CRM results.

    * Project Management: Managed the development of numerous internet based solutions and software for the delivery of our clients' marketing messages.

    * Business Management: Co-managed the company, focusing on new business development, staffing (+50 employees), client relationship management, public relations and marketing, development and delegation of training, space/facilities planning and management, overall corporate policy planning, and financial accountability.

    * Business Development: Defined, pitched, and developed one of the first social networking initiatives online for General Motors (USA). With a $2.0 Million development budget in 2000 it was the largest project ever won by Modem Media (worldwide). It was launched six years prior to the popularity of blogs and social networks (pre-Facebook) to interact and target online youth to identify trends and insights. ;
  • TNT INTERACTIVE - Co-Managing Partner & Vice President

    1996 - 1998 Created one of Canada's first interactive/digital marketing agencies that successfully pioneered the combination of strategic planning, creative development, technology, and media placement as a unified approach to e-business in the early stages of digital marketing channels. Subsequently merged with Modem Media Poppe.Tyson in 1998 prior to IPO.

    * Consulting: Designed the strategic platform and vision for TNT Interactive Inc. in Canada, provided leadership, vision and training to employees and clients, ensuring winning strategic and creative results.

    * Project Management: Managed the development of numerous internet based solutions and interactive software for the delivery of clients' marketing messages (including kiosks, banners, sites, and integrated communications) for blue-chip client's such as IBM Canada, Fairmont Hotels, Rogers, Coca-Cola, Levis, and Seagram Distilleries.

    * Business Management: Responsible for the startup plan for the new business service (within FCB), secured headquarter financing (Chicago & Canada); managed new business. Increased company revenue from $167,000 to $1,660,000 in 2 years; grew the division from 2 to 30 employees.

    * Media Planning: Developed Canada's first and largest online media placement agency and click tracking solutions handling the IBM Canada assignment and other US based clients in 1997 - placing some of the first online media in Canada. In our third year, we managed over $21 Million US in online advertising. ;
