    • The Space95 Telecommunication department is built around the previous Telecommunications Company Mirtels, (which I built from the ground up).

    • In September 2000 a new challenge was offer to me. It consists to build and put in operation a complete Websites for tourism in SEYCHELLES. I took the opportunity and I work with a new company S.T.M.A (Seychelles, Tourism, Marketing, Authority) associated with a U.K company T.E.A.M, for this big project, which is supposed to be in operation by the end of year 2002



    2000-2002

    Coordinator Destination Management System (DMS) for Seychelles

    • Participate in the building core site, niche and web audit tool for the website.

    • Building of different tracking sheet and miscellaneous tool to facilitate the data input.

    • Coordinate and synchronize every data (picture and text) for the new Website since18 months with the website team.

    • Insure that these data are accurate and update for every field needed.

    • Will insure at the end that this website will correspond as near as possible to the specification given. (www.seychelles.com)



    2002-2008

    General Manager for the Island Protection System Company.

    • Rebuilding the ex Mirtels company under the name of Island Protection System with some more objectives like installation, repair and maintain satellite TV, CABLE TV, Switchboards, Network computer and electrical department.

    I manage this company since 2002 with 26 workers

    Since April I leave IPS company to build my own telecommunication company which name is again’ MIRTELS’.and manage with my wife www.seytriskell.fr

    • I was responsible for teaching the application of this system to Iraqian military officers during 18 months

    Technical Advisor to the Iraqi Army

    • As Thomson-CSF Technical advisor to the Iraqi army, I was sent to Iraq and overall responsible for the installation of computerized automatic counter measure system. This system was comprised of monitoring, listening, direction finding and jamming stations. All systems were interconnected via Data VHF/UHF TRANSMISSION.


    1984-1994 Thomson-CSF /Alcatel Seychelles

    Project Manager on site/Consultant to the Seychelles Government

    • I was sent to the Seychelles Island in 1984 by Thomson-CSF in order to set-up a complete HF-VHF-UHF network for the Ministry of Defence and an Alcatel Radio-Telephone system president office. Ministry Of Defence and Police Force
    During this period I was responsible for:

    o Overall installation of all equipment
    o Computerisation of all logistic (More than 3500 different part number)
    o The training of technicians and operators
    o Maintenance and repair of all equipment (up to the 4'th level of reparation)

    • During the same period, I was also in charge of installation of several Alcatel switchboard telephone systems (Opus 300;Opus 4100;Opus 4400)
    • Project manager on site for Alcatel during installation of a VHF telecommunication system including seven networks for use by the Police force, Seychelles army, Presidential security, Ministry of health and others. This project costing U.S.$ 6 millions was brought into operation within one year featuring a selective call facility and is used by over 500 subscribers. This system is still in operation and is comprised of five interconnected repeaters, seven separate networks including, fixes stations, mobile stations, handheld, pagers.
    • In 1994,I was requested by the Ministry Of Finance to set up a commercial company under the umbrella of the Ministry Of Defence. As a result I established MIRTELS (Maintenance, Installation and Repair of Telecommunication System)

    Business Director

    • Subsequent to setting up the company I operated as the only Director within the company for the next three years.
    • Creation of three departments: FINANCIAL; COMMERCIAL; TECHNICAL. Giving the opportunity for the company to sell equipment.
    • We were able to win a licence to operate PMR (Private Mobile Radio) systems in an open tender against giants as Cable &Wireless (Seychelles) Ltd.
    • Mirtels was also responsible for a wide variety of installations such as traffic lights, video surveillance system (airport), electrical installation etc…
    • In addition, Mirtels performed repairs of various electronic and electrical equipment such as mobile phone, TV/Video, computer etc.
    • I set up also a technical training centre to learn or upgrade the level of potential technicians
    • The company (18 persons) was highly profitable so much so that it was not possible to be kept under the Ministry Of Defence as it tended to conflict with the objective of this MINISTER. As a result Mirtels was severed from the Ministry of Defence and subsequently sold by the government of Seychelles to private entrepreneurs (Space 95)
