    2010 - 2012 In 2010 I created, with three associates, Turhas Group "Spirits" – an affiliation of Turhas Group Hotels and Restaurants. After one year, Turhas Group became one of the largest alcohol importers and distributors in Turkey and Northern Cyprus. They distribute to a variety of clients all over the area including shops, bars, hotels, supermarket chains and airlines.

    As a member of the board I was involved, with my partners, in deciding all aspects of the company’s strategy, commercial development and budget. My first mission was to effectively source well-known spirit brands for the Turkish market which I achieved with success.

    In 2012 I decided to sell my shares to one of my associates and focus on Highlands Whisky Company Ltd.

    2000 - maintenant Highlands Whisky Company Ltd is a Scotch whisky and spirits exporter specialising in bulk and own-brand bottling.

    My role in Highlands Whisky Company Ltd is to keep a good business relationship with our distillery partners in Scotland, Ireland and France. With this in mind, we achieve purchases at the best cost and are now one of the most competitive companies on the market for bulk Scotch whisky and other spirits for export. Currently, Highlands Whisky Company is working in a worldwide market with 50% of clients in Europe (including France, Belgium, Germany, Spain and Ireland) and the other 50% in Asia.

    My duties involve effective sourcing from suppliers, monitoring supply and demand on the short and long term markets and overseeing all aspects of service from initial contract to transport and delivery of each individual order to our customers. I seek out and negotiate with new customers ensuring they receive the goods they require under the agreed conditions at all stages of the process. I have developed, and now lead, a network of agents and importers which includes distillers, wholesalers, bottlers and brokers.

    1999 - 2001 Hart Brothers is an independent bottler in rare single malt and is now part of Campbell Meyer & Co Ltd.

    With Hart Brothers, I worked directly with the Managing Director Alistaire Hart and was responsible for the European market. This involved finding new importers, distributors and customers. I represented the Company in European trade shows like VINEXPO held in Bordeaux, and I organised Master Classes with the importers to introduce the single malt collection to their customers.

    1998 - 1999 Boulangerie Patisserie is a wholesale supplier of fresh French-style breads to hotels, restaurants and coffee shops in Scotland.

    I took over the management of an existing client base and created a sales territory on the West Coast of Scotland.

    1990 - 1993 Regional Sales Manager in North and South East of France for Energiser,Wonder, Ucar and Mazda batteries.

    My position included managing key accounts for Energizer with various retail supermarket chains including Carrefour, Leclerc and Auchan and ensuring the supply of the Company’s energy products to different sales points of these customers. The post also included building up the customer portfolio for Energizer.
