    Paris La Defense 2011 - 2014 Project:
    Construction of Imouraren uranium mine. This Areva mine will be one of the biggest uranium mines in the world. The construction project started in 2009 and is expected to be achieved by 2017. The cost of the project is estimated at 2 billion euros. Around 2000 people are working on the construction site. Areva Imouraren is the project owner and the project supervisor.

    This project is a very difficult project for several reasons:
    - geography: Imouraren is in the middle of the Sahel desert, very far from the ports (10 days by a truck).
    - climate very hot and dry.
    - mainly security constraints due to the geopolitical situation in the area.
    - a lot of subcontractors have many problems with quality, time schedule respect and work completion.

    Job:
    Construction management of the airfield for the mine. Coordination of the activities including engineering, construction, supply chain, relations with authorities. Time schedule responsibility. Organisation of regular meetings with all the parties and a follow up of the actions.
    Implementation of pluriannual shipping contracts for the uranium mines of AREVA in Niger (sea and air transport). Management of calls for tender, negotiations and contractualization.
    Development of the shipping follow-up through the creation of software.
  • Areva - Construction management and Engineering

    Paris La Defense 2007 - 2011 Project:
    Construction of the EPR nuclear power plant. This plant is expected to be the biggest nuclear power plant in the world (1600 MW). The project started in 2006 and is still in construction. In 2010, 5000 people of 50 nationalities were working on this project, the biggest construction site in Europe.

    Job:
    Coordination of all activities: civil work, painting, piping, equipment, electricity, ventilation, lifting devices, engineering, quality, and procurement.
    Construction management of the subcontractors through meetings every day. Solve the issues of interferences between subcontractors, explain the priorities
    Definition of target dates in accordance with time schedule. Make priorities to avoid delays.
    Reporting to site manager. Description of important blocking points. Management of task forces to solve important blocking issues.
    Previous position: Plant layout engineer on the 3D model. Solve the interfaces between all the engineering activities.
  • Vertech - Software manager

    Saint-Laurent-Blangy 2004 - 2007 Company:
    Vertech is a company developing and installing systems to monitor production and support quality controls mainly in the glass industry. It is a company with around 30 employees, doing 80% of its turnover outside of France. Vertech is one of the world leaders in its domain.

    Job:
    Management of a team of 8 people in charge of the development and the installation of a production monitoring tool.
    Project management (cost, planning, resources and quality).
    Client follow-up in America and Europe (quotations, frequent trips).
    Supplier follow-up (specification, progress).
    Quality certification.
