  • Lafarge - Research Engineer

    Paris 2014 - 2015 Scope and objective: Develop a fast setting and low-cost concrete tailored to the needs of the residential segment in targeted emerging countries.
    -Co-led a New Product Development (NPD) scientific research project and standardized the fabrication protocol for mass deployment of new product.
    -Defined, planned and followed up on the key milestones of the NPD project: Sub-objectives, Alignment and STOP/GO team meetings, Evolution Tracking and reports, key findings, health & safety analysis (root-cause analysis and EvPR: Evaluation of professional risks);
    -Identified key cost optimization levers in both project management and final recipe of product;
    -Was directly involved in the execution phase of the project: Mechanical & rheological tests, Raw materials management, high-tech laboratory experiments.
    Results:
    -Established a geopolymer recipe that meets mechanical, rheological and safety standards required both by the countries' Lafarge teams and by the end-users;
    -Obtained a European subvention concerning the geopolymer project;
    -Created a cementless concrete and therefore a CO2 free emission base concrete;

  • University of Saarland - Laboratory Engineer

    2013 - 2014 Internship on the effect of ageing on polyurethane and Epoxy under moist air condition by mechanical and chemical characterization (6 months),
