  Rietheim-Weilheim 2018 - 2019 Testing and Validation Engineer in the engineering department of Marquardt « Switches and power Tools Production » to internal customers in a way that satisfies and exceeds compliance to all standards, system and customer requirments.
  the main responsibilities as a TestLab engineer include the following :
  -Design, perform & evaluate tests for electronic & electromechanical switching products.
  -Develop and fulfil project plans related to test activities.
  -Work on cross-functional teams for testability reviews and consulting regarding international safety standards such as: EN 61058-1, UL 61058-1, UL 1054 & IEC 60068-2-xx ...
  - Test setups and execution of various environmental, electrical and mechanical tests ( Damp heat, dry heat, Heating/Temperature rise, Fault conditionsn Abnormal operations,Inrush current, Dielectric withstand, Humidity conditionning, input/power measurement).
  -Analyse and evaluate test results, prepare test reports.
  -Assigning the right priority and overseeing the allocated preferred resources: Test planning (deadlines, resources & booking of equipment).
  -Develop test capabilities of the test laboratory.
  -Specification of qualification equipment.
  -Ensure the upgrading and improvement of performance of test tools.
  -Assist and support external certification inspectors during testing activities for Marquardt products.
  -Work together with external certification bodies like UL, KEMA, DEKRA or CSA.
  -Contribute to processes aimed to maintain quality standards, meeting deadlines, proposing improvements in existing test techniques, based on experience and knowledge of new trends and equipment.
  -Work across Marquardt to promote best practices in regards to reliability tests.
