function of T cells and dendritic cells'' led by Drs. Bernard and
Marie MALISSEN.
Project: ``Characterization of neutropenic mouse model generated by random
mutagenesis''
* Multiparameter flow cytometry (18 parameters).
* Immunophenotyping of hematopoietic cell types, including T cells, B cells,
dendritic cells, natural killer cells (NK), mast cells, macrophages, monocytes
and progenitors cells.
* Cell sorting of populations poorly represented: mast cells, plasmocytoid
dendritic cells, B1a and B1b cells.
* Evaluation of neutrophil biology in steady state and inflammatory conditions:
developmental stages, cell morphology, expression of transcripts coding for
granule proteins and functional activity.
* Collaborative participation with external laboratories to analyze the adaptive
immune response in mice chronically infected with Brucella sp. and
neutrophil requirement in NK cell development and activation.
