Dimitri Mendjisky has been working for more than 20 years in the audiovisual field. He is a well-known expert in media development and TV production in Europe, Africa as well as in Asia.
During the first 12 years of his career, Dimitri Mendjisky created TV channel for Canal+ (leading French pay TV), for which he was appointed as managing director.
Among many other activities, Dimitri Mendjisky produced more than 200 prime times for various broadcasters (TF1, M6, or France Televisions) and production houses (Endemol, , Mistral or W9) in France, Russia, Ukraine, China or Morocco.
In 2007, he was appointed by the French Foreign Affairs Ministry as a diplomat in charge of the audiovisual market in the region. Based in Singapore, he reinforced and developed media partnerships and media businesses between France and 14 Asian countries.
Dimitri Mendjisky, quickly, became a specialist in new media strategies, TV contents adaptation to digital platforms and its related business models. Consequently, and as a key expert in the region, he supported several Asian broadcasting organizations to prepare their digital switchover successfully by implementing appropriate strategies in terms of management, positioning and scheduling.
Consequently, in 2010, he has been appointed as General Manager of 2 companies, Mediahub Apac and Edumonde. Both are Malaysian-based companies.
By creating Mediahub, Dimitri Mendjisky contributed to bridge the Asian media market with the Western media market so as to strengthen and foster partnerships, exchanges and business opportunities.
With Edumonde, he worked on a new concept of set-up-box named “Edubox” in order to give an easy access to educational/edutainment programmes that will be used as a tool for enhancing education and facilitating the learning process.
