Biography:
After working on the application of Artificial intelligence techniques to the analysis of railway safety, his work is currently focuses on assessing and preventing risks of accidents, the integration of human factors in the analysis and assessment of rail safety and finally the French and European standards, legislation and regulations on railway safety. In addition to his research activities, Habib Hadj Mabrouk contributed expertise to the certification of railway transport systems in France. In 2004 he was designated “Expert evaluator” with the organization for rail transport certification Certifer. Alongside his research and expertise activities, Habib Hadj Mabrouk has contributed to teaching (Associate Professor) in several universities and engineering schools in France and abroad. He has published around 110 papers, 4 books (Inrets/Lavoisier, Hermès, Octarès, Cépaduès) and 50 Reports of scientific research, contract/convention and expertise. He received multiple research prizes and particularly the prize of the best session at the International conference in Monaco in 2010 and the award for best paper of the international conference in 2009 (SETIT'2009).
