Laboratoire Catalyse et Spectrochimie (LCS-ENSICAEN)
- Post-Doc
2010 - 2011I am currently a postdoctoral fellow with the responsibility of setting up an LEA framework (Laboratoire Européen Associé) denoted as: European Laboratory of Zeolites and Related Materials. This project is conducted between the LCS-Caen (Laboratoire de Catalyse et Spectrochimie) and the COK-K.U. Leuven (Center for Surface Chemistry and Catalysis). My activities include concerting research efforts in the domains of disclosure of new catalysts for Methanol/Ethanol to Olefins process (resistance of hierarchical zeolites to deactivation), use of MOF's (Metal organic Frameworks) for CO2 capture, structure/activity relationship of catalysts for biomass conversion as well as the use of non-thermal plasma in catalysis and the evaluation of zeolites as carriers for therapeutic molecules. This work requires a solid scientific knowledge, an open social spirit, motivation as well as a sound relational sense. The coordination of the various research projects necessitates good management capacities in order to accompany, conduct and report on the research efforts. Other than material or catalyst preparation, this project necessitates sound use and coordination of analytical tools, mainly ATIR, FTIR, AGIR and non-thermal plasma in direct and operando regimes.
