SoScience! is a pioneer in Responsible Research and Innovation, which is a new way to approach scientific research and development. We focus on the impact science can have on society, and we are committed to scientific innovation for social good. We believe that science can change the world for good, that a more responsible way of seeing research is necessary and concerns enterprises as well as public laboratories.
We have three ways of promoting responsible research:
- Taking action to tackle today’s social and environmental challenges. We offer Research and Development support for social entrepreneurs and consulting on Responsible Innovation for industrial companies.
- Raising awareness among scientists and leaders. We set up events in engineering schools and companies to show that one can perform high quality research and innovation while caring about their impact.
- Shaping the future by active participation in think tanks and prospective thinking about next generation’s laboratories.
