Currently working as Process Safety Engineer at Ambatovy JointVenture, my job is basically to prevent occurrence of explosion, fire or release of hazardous/toxic substances in the large-scale Nickeland Cobalt plant .
I was involved in numerous significant tasks such as
-Safety Critical Element selection-assessment-implementation for Ammonia storage area, Sulphuric acid plant, Hydrogen plant,Hydrogen sulphide plant, High Pressure Acid Leach area
-Gap analysis of safeguards against hydrogen sulphide releasethreat for Mixed Sulphide precipitation area
-Review of Mixed Sulphide area blanketing system
-ICAM investigation of Significant Potential Incident that could haveled to fatalities due to release of hydrogen sulphide and nitrogenoxide NOx
My previous position at Ambatovy JV as Production Engineerassigned in refinery area exposed me to one of the main operation ofthe plant. Few achievements are as follows:
-Led alarm management
-Led production optimization to reduce Nickel and byproduct lossand reduce production downtime
-Control loop review and process continuous improvement
-Commissioning to introduce new chemical type and new feed type
-Developed monitoring trends for fellow engineers
