I early joined the new structure, as the new Industrial Technology and Innovation Department Manager, to develop and roll out the new business model, focusing on products & process innovation.
RESPONSABILITIES:
> Product development:
- Strengthen Design Studio Team skills focusing on digital and embedded systems
- Identify / anticipate new requirements based on user experience and customers
- Define strategy on innovative products and budget
- Implement Design to cost, Design Thinking, Open Innovation methodology
- Manage new products development with Team leaders
- Ensure coordination between Sales, Marketing, Communication, Production, etc.
- Promote new products to BtoB customers
- Apply for eligible grants (eg: CIR-Bpi)
> Creating a new Purchasing Dpt compliant with product development strategy:
- Develop the new purchasing policy, strategy and budget
- Challenge and renew partners / suppliers based on price, quality and leading time
- Support BID / no-BID answers
- Optimize the Supply Chain to match new requirements
> Industrial optimization and innovation:
- Analyse and define the CAPEX
- Roll out the industrial strategy and investments
- Apply for eligible grants (eg: regional CCI)
- Manage integration of new industrial processes

RESPONSABILITIES:
- Answer BID / no-BID on all technical aspects in support of the European Sales Team
- Define, review and negotiate specifications based on customer needs and Wescast's abilities
- Communication on all technical points and development phases with French customers and their partners
(PSA, Renault-Nissan, BMW, Ford) and third party company (Honeywell, Borgwarner)
- From Business Award to Start of Production, manage and coordinate all development phases between
customer, R&D Dpt (Canada), Production site (Hungary, China, Canada), Sales HQ (Germany)
- Lead all products and tools (mould, machining tools) submissions for validation / certification phases
(Proto, PrePPAP, PPAP and Series parts)
- Manage and coordinate all testing phases, both in-house and customer simulation runs
- Manage APQP (Advanced Product Quality Planning), Project R&O (Risk and Opportunities)
- Optimize and control the Supply Chain (including transportation and packaging)
- Control the Production Master Plan in compliance with the Sales Master Plan ;
- Take an active part to Lean Manufacturing task force and Optimization Master Plan ;
- As part of the Innovation Team, develop and promote new products and materials with worldwide
customers.
TEAM MANAGEMENT:
- 4 Product Focus Team Leaders based in production sites (Hungary and China)
ACHIEVEMENTS:
- 12 programs (eg: Renault= K9K step3 & 4, K9K Gen5 & 6 version; PSA-BMW= Prince P105; HTT=
GM1.6L) corrsponding to 34M EUR yield in 2014 (38% of global European turnover)
- Implementation of 2 new materials, giving to customer alternative solutions to basic Stainless Steel and cast

Thalès Security Systems (TSS) was selected to design and build the Network and Telecommunications
Infrastructure, Data Centers Security Systems, Airport Operational Systems and Building Management for
the New Doha International Airport
RESPONSABILITIES:
Interfaces coordination:
- Manage all technical and contractual interfaces between TSS, BECHTEL OBI general contractor (http://
www.bechtel.com/projects/hamad-international-airport/) and contractors (~20)
- Attend OBI interface committee as TSS representative and report related action plans
- Coordinate and solve interface issues with TSS technical teams.
Testing & Commissioning
- Documentation (Test Plan, procedures, certifications, etc)
- Design of pre-construction test bench and laboratory,
- Manage results monitoring and corrective actions ;
- Systems compliance validation with final customer specifications.

1- Integration of BS Tooling subsidiary company in Montupet UK Facility (Budget: 1MGBP )
- Challenge former analysis on both industrial and human resources aspects
Achievement: Recommendation (applied) of outsourcing all BS Tooling activities to the Spanish subsidiary
company from Montupet, based on labour cost, capacity, moving cost, CAPEX, etc.
2- Implementation of the System Process Control Project (SPC)
- Identify critical parameters for each process
- Define and roll out monitoring tools and warning procedures
3- Cost reduction focused on consumables (Finishing process)
- Perform cost studies on consumables (recipe, waste, loss, etc.)
- Optimize consumption with new procedures and best practices (correlated with SPC)
Achievement: # 0.08 EUR / product
4- Optimization of the surface treatment line for Alloy Wheels
- Identify needs and provide recommendations
- Define and manage corrective action plan ;
