AREVA NP
- Overall Test Engineer
Paris La Defense2017 - maintenantWriting and review of commissioning test programs and test procedures.
Support to field-test engineers.
Training of field-test engineers on simulator.
Areva NP
- Commissioning Engineer
2016 - 2017Olkiluoto 3 (OL3) construction site, Finland
System leader for the commissioning of the principal secondary circuit of the future EPR plant:
- Main feedwater system,
- Emergency feedwater system,
- Steam Generator blowdown system,
- Steam dump to atmosphere system.
Support to the system leader for commissioning of the safety injection system.
2013 - 2017Field-testing in the very regulated framework of nuclear energy production: security, quality and safety!
This position requires availability, solid scheduling and preparation, resilience, stress resistance and ability to make quickly good decisions, always following procedures and safety rules.
Additionally, as an on-site representative of AREVA, customer relationship forms a significant part of the job.
My scope includes regulatory tests, but also tests after modernization or 'big parts' replacement (e.g. steam generators replacement).
Some tests (e.g. main circuit hydraulic test) involve the coordination of different working sectors, including mechanics, electrical technicians or other field-test engineers.

- Ingénieur Confirmé responsable du Circuit Secondaire Principal (Senior Secondary Circuit Engineer)
Paris2013 - 2013Technical documentation review.
Technical support to nuclear installed base.

- Formateur-Concepteur Conduite Nucléaire (Reactor Operator Instructor)
Paris2009 - 2012As a nuclear reactor operator instructor, first I followed the same training course as a licensed nuclear reactor operator (18 months with theoretical and practical exams), as well as additional pedagogy and interview techniques course.
Once licensed as an instructor, my scope covered both theoretical and practical trainings, with simulation of various scenarios on a 'full-scope' simulator which reproduces identically a nuclear reactor control room.
I was in particular repsonsible for:
Initial training of future nuclear reactor operators, safety engineers and control room supervisors, including normal, incidental and accidental operations.
Training and skill development of senior reactors operators and control room supervisors, with:
- more complex scenarios with accumulation of hardware failures and human error,
- teamwork assessment and improvement,
- deeper approach of human factors.

- Rigid Pipeline Engineer (internship)
Paris2009 - 2009R&D in the framework of Flow Assurance and Integrity Management issues [...].
I went beyond the original scope of my internship and produced two 'decision matrices' which - combined with statical and economical data - might help choosing the most strategic techniques to invest in.
Aix-en-Provence2008 - 2008Original scope of the internship was to help the lead mechanical engineer to design the cooling system of Supersonic Imagine's innovative ultrasound system, the Aixplorer.
When I began my internship, the company was working on a first design.
I proposed an alternative design, which helped to reduce cost and make maintenance easier..
I built a test bench to demonstrate the relevance of my solution and to optimize airflow.
This cooling system is currently used by the Aixplorer.
CNRS
- Mechanical Engineer (internship)
Paris2006 - 2006Design of a mechanical system (a water tank with a three-axis motorized system).
Supervision of the fabrication, assembly and testing.
The system was successfully used for 3D ultrasound elastography experiments.
