Member of the European IT leadership team.
As a consequence of cancelling an outsourcing contract early 2012, the mission was to insource the on-site and second level support activities, building a team in charge of the overall end-user support and IT infrastructure of critical locations (i.e. manufacturing plants or main offices).
Main duties:
• Build a second line support team located across EMEA
• Ease the transition to a new first line support partner (service desk)
• Guide the second line support team, and ensure best coordination with the service desk
• Organize the on-site infrastructure support and client IT support
• Drive improvement simplification of end-user IT related processes (aligning to corporate processes)
• Manage escalations and critical situations
• Administer the end-user devices lifecycle (incl. hardware procurement, and Ms-Windows7 migration)
• Deliver & manage IT projects in EMEA (like office relocation or other infrastructure projects)
• Integrate acquisitions from an IT support perspective
• Execute and support localized business initiatives
• Develop IT associates, creating opportunities to retain the best talents, onboard new IT associates
• Foster knowledge transfer and sharing
• Promote team members proposals for innovative solutions focusing on fields users
• Warrant for a healthy workplace for Team members
• Communicate IT support performance to local organizations
