Project Management Officer for the ITP “Eco 2010” program (since January 09)
Eco 2010 is a plan that aimed at reducing the running costs of the bank of $1.5MM in 2010 using different optimization methods. For the ITP division, it represented 84 projects (in IT, sourcing, real estate and purchasing) which resulted in recurring annual savings of $150M in 2010
- Led the 15 PMO and financial analysts forming the ITP Eco 2010 community (animating coordination meetings, building reporting tools, processes and communication supports to manage their project portfolios)
- Identified or challenged new projects by scrutinizing industrialization actions outside and within the rest of the bank, promoted synergies between the ten ITP departments
- Measured the sustainability of the ITP Eco 2010 projects’ business cases then controlled their actual effects on ITP budget and expenses
- Reported Eco 2010 projects’ progress to the ITP Executive Committee
Global Sourcing Business Analyst (Oct. 08 – Dec. 08)
- Designed an Excel tool that aimed at identifying the bank’s processes and applications to be outsourced
- Devised, improved and maintained a tool to measure industrialization projects’ profitability
Financial Planning Analyst, Responsible for BNP Paribas Med IT’s business plan follow-up (July 07 – Sept. 08)
Med IT is a subsidiary of BNP Paribas established in Casablanca, Morocco, which develops software and provides IT production services exclusively for the bank. Employees: 500. Annual budget: $22M
- Measured HR, productivity and financial effects of the economic model through a business plan
- Redefined the economic model of the subsidiary, including a new pricing model
- Cost out the man-day rate, depending on the activity, the technology and the background of the developer, resulting in a 60 different fees schedule
- Produced the supporting documentation for steering committees with the Board of Directors
Project Officer for the BNP Paribas Operational Efficiency Group “Impact” program (July 06 – June 07)
Impact was a portfolio of 15 strategic transversal and transformational projects that addressed regulatory issues or industrialization needs to reduce the bank’s running costs (average project budget and duration: $10M and 2.5 years)
- Defined the reporting processes and projects’ P&L building rules
- Controlled the sustainability of the projects’ business plans and reconciled operational and budget views
- Implemented and administrated a financial reporting database (training 70 users and managing upgrades and IT production of the database)
