- Conducting all the interfacing arrangements of the Health & Safety Management System
(Acosco/BP, Statoil, Sonatrach).
-Prepare all Acosco's Tenders.
-Participate at all Committee Meetings (BP/STATOIL/SONATRACH).
-Participate and contribute to Method Statement, Risk Assessment, Interface documents , Toolbox
meetings and other safety meetings with Contractors.
-Report and investigate incident report and follow up to implement the corrective actions as per time
scale.
-Observe and monitor the implementation of site HSE standards and address any issues and contribute
to implement corrective actions.
-Carry out site inspections and examinations of safety critical equipment of construction.
-Assist and verify the correct implementation of the IA Ops PTWsystem when required.
-Verify and check that the required HSE inductions and HSE trainings and awareness programs have
been completed for the workforce.
-Be able and competent to run gas testing when is required to do so Conduct HSE Audits and
Inspection as required by approved schedule.
-Monitor effective implementation of remedial action plans.
-Coordinate, schedule and administrate emergency Drills.
-Report all HSE deficiencies on contractor’s performance to project manager/construction manager.
-Provide feedback likely to initiate continual improvements in contractor performance.
-Communicate effectively with contractors, including reporting requirements for incidents and
accidents and emergency procedures.
-Provide support to the Project team and to coordinate HSE tasks and data as well as in their
interaction with the contractors, assess needs and requirements and inform of expectations, needs and
achievements.
-Set and assess the contractor quarterly objectives and assure that consistency and knowledge transfer
are maintained.
-Motivate and encourage the contractor to acquire HSE ownership via recognition for exceptional
safety performance and initiation of safe practices on site .
-Engage, induct and develop safe working practices for construction workers.
-Identify the barriers that could prevent successful implementation of a contractor safety program, and
how other relevant standards to overcome them can.
