  • Sofitel - Sales Assistant - MICE

    Malabo 2016 - 2017 Results: 36 events sold and managed

    I joined the sales department for the Sofitel Quiberon. The resort is composed by two hotels (Thalassa and Diététique) linked by a thalassotherapy center. The full capacity was 202 rooms and suites, two restaurants and three bars.

    My missions were to sell and coordonate the different with the customer and also all the different departments of the hotel (accomodation, food and beverage, thalassotherapy and spa, ...).

    My daily tasks were :
    - Customer relationship
    - Prepare coordination documents for every events
    - Make the rooming dispach
    - Update sales documents

    Different event managed :
    - Cinema Set - 3 Jours à Quiberon - Emily Atef / Karsten Stöter
    - European Cycling Team - Accomadation of Italian and Turkish team
    - Sofitel's French General Managers CODIR
    - Classic Music show
    - Team Building, CODIR, Seminars, Incentives, coachings
    - Weddings
    - Leisure, car clubs (porsche), ...

    Projects :
    - Create the 2017 MICE Brochure
    - Coordinating the cinema set with the different departments of the hôtel and customers

    17 people (10 waiters and 7 bartenders) coached

    The opio resort is composed by
    1 restaurant
    2 bars
    1 night club

    For two months I was the "on ground" coach for the f&b team to generate upsales.

    Results : 1st south european resort - F&B sales department - Summer 2015 (still the best result in 2016)

    Missions :
    - Set the weekly sales operations (tasting, garden party)
    - Make the service and sells at the restaurant or at the bar
    - Stock management
    - Manage the big sales operations (french day, new year, christmas, valentines day, ...)

    I also had to do the "GO" job. Thats mean using your free time for customer relationship or participation of the different shows. I also use my free time to learn bartender techniques and organisation.

  • Carrefour - Assitant Maketing Foire aux Vins

    Massy 2014 - 2014 Results: +3% of the turnover versus N-1

    For my summer internship linked to my marketing studies, I've been attached to the marketing department to prepare the second most operation of the group in terms of volumes.

    My missions :
    - Prepare all the sales documents
    - Organise four seminars for Carrefour owners and directors (with wine tasting, presentations of all the marketing tools, ordering instructions, ...)

    I learned a lot about the retail business especially for the wine industry. It made me reallise how the Carrefour group is big and all the structures are needed in this business.
