Ion Soteropoulos is an independent research philosopher and scientific metaphysician who is passionately devoted to creative and interdisciplinary work. She was born in Greece and studied social sciences and philosophy at the University of Paris, where she founded in 2002 the Apeiron Centre ( (www.apeironcentre.org)the first philosophical organization in the world that studies the dynamic connection of the finite with the infinite in our physical universe, society and mind. She is also the author of the titles i) Metaphysics of Infinity: The Problem of Motion and the Infinite Brain (2013) and ii) The Infinite in Act (2007). Both books are 30 years meditation on the nature and organizing principles of physical reality, human perception, and accelerating growth in the light of Greek Ionian philosophy. She writes philosophical articles about the Universe, Life and Consciousness and actively participates in International conferences.
Her research interests are: Natural philosophy, philosophy of science and technology, philosophy of cosmology, philosophy of sociology and economics, scientific metaphysics.
