Jean-Marie “Jimmy” Knapp is a polyvalent French sound engineer, sound designer, arranger, and live sound engineer with a good flair for ethnic music. He is used to handle sound aspects for world music acts (such as Steve Shehan and Reza Derakshani, Hadouk Trio, Ahmad El Sawy, Trio Chemirani, Baly Othmani, and also Contemporan music such as Philippe Laurent Claude Samard & Clement Bailly, to name a few…) and to engineer live shows for these musicians. He has been awarded by France Inter and France Info for his sound documentaries and creations. Jimmy studio's located in Vientiane, Laos, and also freelances as a video editor for different TV chanels.
Actually in project, expansion of Royal Theatre of Luang Prabang.
