  corrosion control by bacteria or acid, etc.

  * Scale up to semi-industrial level the chemicals production for crude oil and

  * Developed, implemented and use of standards such as API, ASME, ANSI and
  OSHA for the production plant.
  * Formulated, developed and tested at industrial scale plant an asphaltene
  dispersant for crude oil production and a combustion improver for heavy fuel oil.
  * Developed a process scheme for polyacrilate production used as a main
  component for crude oil treatment in wells.

• PDVSA - Pilot

  Maracaibo 1983 - 1988 * In charge of the industrial fuels evaluation laboratory and the combustion pilot
  plant.
  * Responsible for test programs and results evaluation for emulsions combustion.
  * In charge of the first tests done at pilot scale of Orimulsion combustion. This
  leads to use this type of fuel as a premium fuel for power generation plants.
  * Evaluation and diagnosis of thermal units in the Venezuelan refineries,
  including testing and evaluation of corrosion inhibitors additives.
