Julien CHAINTRON

SAN FRANCISCO

En résumé

Hello World!

I am Julien Chaintron, a French student graduated from EPITA, a computer science engineer school. When I started EPITA, I had a short programing experience but the school gave me a good knowledge in every fields of computer science, but also a passion for computers and programming.

My engineer education allows me to understand, analyze and resolve my problems. When you see a problem, I see innovation: I am not scared of stepping in places where nobody has been before.

I specialized in IA field of computer science in my last year of school. Hence, I could keep in touch with mathematics which helped me to grow my skill in real-time rendering. Now I am comfortable with several programing contexts: C++ / OpenGL, Java / Android OpenGL ES and Javascript / WebGL. For the end of my studies, I interned in a graphics engineer team where I could apply my knowledge in real time rendering.

Today I wish to progress my skills in real-time rendering by taking part in complex and challenging projects which relates to 3D programming / engineering.

Entreprises

  • Amoee Inc. - Graphics Engineer Intern

    2013 - maintenant Integrated Pulse3D team responsible of the development of Amobee rendering engine. I was in charge of:
    - Developing, designing and optimizing the Pulse3D engine;
    - Extending the rendering layer to make the engine running with Javascript / WebGL;
    - Developing the analytic feature to log, compute and visualize users main views over the advertising campaign.
  • EPITA - Teaching Assistant

    Villejuif 2012 - 2013 I worked in a team of selected senior students in charge of the technical education of 3rd year students which includes:
    - writting lectures, practical assignments and project subjects;
    - leading lectures;
    - helping students with their projects.
  • Eugen Systems - IA / Gameplay developer

    Paris 2011 - 2012 I took part of the development team for the game Wargame: European Escalation. Assigned to the interface development unit: Started with the development of simple components and ended with engine main behaviors. I learned to develop powerful interfaces and interface engine through intensive C++ practicing. I became attentive towards details, user ergonomy and well structured architectures.

Formations

  • EPITA - Ecole D'Ingénieurs En Informatique

    Kremlin Bicêtre 2008 - 2011 Master in Compute Science

    Large formation of Unix Systems and IT project developments in Unix / Windows environments.

    Specialization in AI field: metaheuristic and problem solving optimization, text mining, image processing and machine learning.

    Self-learning in 3D real-time rendering.
