  • MPO ireland Limited - Maintenance and process engineer

2005 - 2006 I was responsible of maintenance and process issues in a clean room (11 plastic injection CD’s presses and 5 CD’s print machines). I worked in accordance with the Philips specification regarding CD’s and had the responsibility to override ‘failed’ CDs. While maintaining the machines there were many settings which need to be changed and I made all these changes in a very systematic manner. I also had to plan time to do preventative maintenance to ensure that the machines were calibrated properly.
I worked with the production manager and reported to him if there were any faults with any of the machines. This job was very motivating because I liked to work under pressure and take pragmatic decisions which I knew will improve machines efficiency.
  • GHP Competition - Assistant technical engineer

2004 - 2004 This was a three-month training period in the rally team GHP Compétition. I designed and implement software using Microsoft Access to manage the spares warehouse. I was involved in the adjustment and data acquisition of a Renault Clio Super 1600 during the French rally championship. This included adjustment of the brake balance, shock absorbers (3 ways gas shock absorber), springs and engine management with Telemax Wintax by Magneti Marelli.
