Since March 2007: Technical leader (TopUp TV project) employed as a contractor by a digital TV decoder manufacturer
Within a team of eight people, maintenance and evolution of a PVR and VOD product for the UK market. Involved in the launching of two new platforms.
For this project, has stayed in the UK for several months, to be in charge of the customer support, to replace the project leader during his holidays, to participate in meetings and conference calls with customer, technical support for a team of 5 engineers, to be responsible for the choices of software architectures, the quotation of evolution and the maintenance of the tracking Bug List.

From Decembre 2005 to March 2007: Design engineer ( Comedia PVR project)within Iwedia R&D department
Within a team of 4 people, definition and implementation of a PVR package for a ST reference board Sti5100 (Topaz, mb390 et mb395).
- Selection of the architecture of high level layers for multi-record, timeshift, trickmodes, and recordings scheduling. Then implementation of these modules.
- Definition and implementation of the user interface.
- Integration of a MHEG5 interactivity engine for the UK market
- Prototypes demonstrated at IBC 2005 and CCBN 2006 shows.
- Management of the 2 trainees engineers, with weekly technical guidance meetings.
- Involvement in the tracking Bug List maintenance.

From August 2005 to December 2005: Design Engineer (Comedia V2 Project Comedia V2) Within Iwedia R&D department
Within a team of 4 people, definition and implementation of Comedia Middleware (Iwedia’s Middleware) for ST reference boards Sti5100 and Sti5105.
- Definition and implementation of a new user interface (work in collaboration with the marketing team).
- Selection of the architecture and implementation of several new modules of the middleware: zapping, Electronic Program Guide, services installation….
- Porting of the middleware on boards Sti5100 and Sti5105.
- Pre-sale activities targeting south-American and Europeans customers..

From February 2005 to August 2005 (For Philips SC) : Design Engineer cor (Comedia for MOJO Project) within Iwedia R&D departement
Within a team of 4 people, maintenance and evolution of Comedia Middleware (Iwedia’s Middleware) for Philips Semiconductors reference boards based on Mojo chipset..
- Debug and validation of middleware.
- Code size and performances optimization.
- Evolution of the middleware according to Change Requests issued by Philips.
- Training of Philips engineers on Iwedia’s.tools for the publishing of user interfaces
- Pre-sale activities targeting Indian customers.
